Axminster-Woodturning Ring Friction Drive - MT2

Used in conjunction with the Ring & Centre Point Live Centre, this Ring Friction Drive is ideal for smaller spindle turning. As the points and rings on both exactly match, the timber can be quickly reversed if the grain happens to be running the wrong way. 

Two other benefits of the drive are (a) that the work can be loaded and loaded quickly when doing a production run and (b) the workpiece will stop revolving in the case of a mishap, a good safety feature for the novice turner and a great way to perfect skew chisel technique.
